Class trips and day trips in and around Berlin offer our students the opportunity to extend their learning beyond the classroom and explore their world with peers, friends, and trusted teachers.
Our students enjoy regular trips in the city—in and around Museum Island, theaters, museums, and scientific institutes on our doorstop in Berlin-Mitte. Our dynamic school neighborhood offers our students from a very young age a window to the cultural, historical and political landscape in the capital city.
In addition to school excursions that support our curriculum and take place during the school day, we also offer our students a class trip once a year beginning in Grade 3. With both international and national destinations, our school trips offer our students the opportunity to practice team building, facility friendships across grade levels, and give them learning opportunity to develop a specific skill set—be it in a nature-focused class trip in Grade 4, a team-building and sports camp in grade 7, a boat trip on the open waters in Grade 8, or an international destination to a historical European city in the upper grades of Secondary school.
Our class trips take place at designated camp weeks in our school calendar and generally happen during the start of the academic year.
