Student Leadership

Student Leadership

Active and meaningful participation is a central tenet of our school culture. Our student executive includes many different roles and positions, each with the mandate to further develop BMS Secondary. Elected by their peers in democratic elections, our students develop a campaign program and serve for one school year. Our leaders are important and trusted partners in school life and represent the interests and needs our students in Grades 7-12.

Student Leadership

Each role provides our students with the opportunity to learn how to manage responsibility, how to represent interests and perspectives, and how to manage decision-making tasks important to the larger student body. They act as both mentors and role models to their peers and embody the characteristics, values, and ethical principles we seek to develop in our students.
