Hirotaka Müller-Mark, Class of 2019
“The small class settings at BMS created an educational environment where teachers can really share their passion and expertise with students. Looking back, I really value this experience as it meant that students were given more attention than what is the norm.”
After completing his IB Diploma in Gr. 12, Hirotaka went on to major in industrial engineering at the University of Toronto as part of his bachelor´s degree in applied science, where he is currently in his last year of study. In the summer of 2023, he completed a 15-month internship at Ernst & Young as part of the digital team responsible for Financial Services in the role of Junior Analyst. Next to his studies in engineering, Hirotaka is also the corporate relations director for the University of Toronto Engineering Students Consulting Association.
“At BMS, I was surrounded by students who really cared about what they wanted to do in the future and what field they wanted to study so that helped me to take my university applications and career planning more seriously. I believe that experience, in addition to the very international environment we enjoyed at BMS, played a part in where I am today in terms of academics and career”.
