Karin Wachter leads the MSA Curriculum Program and inspires students from all backgrounds to embrace both German language learning and literature. She places marked emphasis within the program on meeting and communicating the needs of the students as well as the teachers to prepare successfully for the exams. Through providing voice and agency to her students and teachers, Karin encourages long-term motivation and a strong sense of academic achievement.
Neil Mercer is our IGCSE (International General Certificate for Secondary Education) Examinations Coordinator and with that, oversees the formal requirements of the entire IGCSE Program in grades 9-10. Neil Mercer works in close contact with the other program coordinators to ensure continuity with our program and to ensure that all IGCSE exam and curriculum requirements are adhered to. Mr. Mercer works frequently with Cambridge University to stay abreast of all new developments and to establish strong ties with the examinations board.
Dorian Rosso is the IBDP Coordinator at BMS and leads the DP Core Team (EE, TOK, CAS) in establishing a strong and supportive base from which our students can complete their senior Secondary years. As part of his educational philosophy, he places importance on the development of students as inquirers and balanced individuals who strive to acknowledge the viewpoints of others and their own contribution to the world. Dorian is a keen supporter of the IB educational philosophy which nurtures the idea of fostering the whole identity of each student; their approach to learning, challenging themselves in multiple ways, as well as understanding oneself and others' values in our global society.
