Starting this year, students in the 7th grade have begun learning a second foreign language. They have chose instruction in either Spanish or French and will have the opportunity to practice their skills during a 9-day language excursion aimed at deepening their understanding.  The latter is very important to us so that they not only gain cultural understanding associated with the language of choice but are also given the opportunity to speak with children of their own age. To this end, students will travel this year to Nice and Barcelona where they will visit students in other international schools  in the respective cities.

Program Nice
Day 1: Museum of  archeology + workshop
 
Day 2: Treasure hunt in “Le vieux-Nice”(passing by some important monuments and places)
 
Day 3: Sport – long walk in the southern part of the Alps
 
Day 4: Valbonne: Church + “Musée du patrimoine”
 
Day 5: Biot: Verrerie + « Musée Fernand Léger »
 
Day 6: Market + shopping + walk along the beach + cinema
 
Day 7: Grasse: visit of the town + musée du parfum
 
Day 8: School visit
 
Day 9: Flight back to Berlin
