Admission to Primary School

The first step for families who are interested in having their child attend Berlin Metropolitan School is to contact our admissions office.

Our staff will arrange a meeting with you to talk about admitting your child.

You then need to fill out the registration form and send it to us together with an evaluation and the report cards of any schools previously attended by mail, e-mail or fax.

The admissions office will contact you based on the registration form to arrange a meeting with the pedagogical head of the Primary School. This meeting is intended to get to know you and your child. We take the opportunity in this meeting to introduce our school to you, answer your questions and show you the school grounds.

We invite all applicants for grade 2 and higher to participate in a trial day, to give them a chance to ease their way into life at BMS. During this trial day, we test both your child's academic knowledge, giving priority to German, English and math, as well as his or her social skills.

We then discuss the next steps in an evaluation meeting. We also accept new students during the school year.

We look forward to your visit.
