Kindergarten

The BMS kindergarten is comprised of 3 groups, each with a maximum of 18 children. The kindergarten aims to create a stimulating atmosphere for the children, one in which curiosity and creativity are encouraged and personal and social skills are developed, especially within the Units of Inquiry of the PYP.

The kindergarten groups have very structured days which include music lessons, movement and field trips, and enough time to romp and play with their classmates, too. The children also start to work on projects that encourage their hunger for knowledge and support active learning.

Our kindergarteners soon recognize that the world is their classroom! Walks in the forest, trips to playgrounds, theater visits and more are scheduled every week to inspire the children in a variety of ways.

Healthy, balanced meals are provided for our children throughout the day. In the morning, there is a fruit snack. A warm meal with seasonal fruits and vegetables is served for lunch, with a snack in the afternoon. Snack boxes are provided for field trips. We work together with the Greens catering company, which uses primarily organic products to prepare meals.
