Services
The BMS stands for a modern school concept, but also for a comprehensive service for our students and their families. We carefully think about the wishes and needs of our families in order to provide them with the best support in combining career, family, and high-quality education.
Our Holiday Program is an important building block in this regard. We try to keep the number of closing days during school holidays to a minimum and we have created an interesting and varied Holiday Program. We go on trips and excursions, work on projects, and offer fascinating, age-appropriate leisure-time activities for our holiday children. We build on the experiences and preferences of students from previous years in order to meet the needs and interests of our children.
Our summer camps, tailored to different age groups, make the time fly by. The 3rd and 4th graders will go on a trip to Brandenburg where a fun and varied program awaits them. Our 5th and 6th graders will travel to the Baltic Sea this summer to spend fun-filled days in a modern camp. The 7th and 8th graders will have the option of traveling to Brighton, England in order to get to know the country and the people and to practice their language skills.
All groups are accompanied by our educators and teachers so that we can combine the fun and games with learning opportunities.
For many families, learning to play an instrument is part of a well-balanced education. In order to simplify the logistics for our families in this area, we work together with various music schools to offer individual instrumental lessons in our school rooms.
An additional service for our families is the combination of many different educational courses under one roof at BMS. The latter includes for many families, learning to play an instrument is part of a well-balanced education. In order to simplify the logistics for our families in this area, we work together with various music schools to offer individual instrumental lessons in our school rooms. In order to reduce logistical organization for our families, we work with many different music schools who offer individual instrumental instruction within our school classrooms.
Our language instruction, especially for international families who would like to provide their children with the opportunity to practice and learn their mother tongue, has a central place in our afternoon program where many different languages are taught.
As an all-day school we have the responsibility to offer a quality school program from 8:30 to 6:00pm. This includes courses like the homework club, offered by teachers where students can finish their homework, prepare for an exam, redo assignments from class, or ask additional questions about assignments.
We offer afternoon study groups especially for our Secondary School students, in order to provide a time and space to prepare for exams or to concentrate on certain topics or themes from class.
Our Co-Curricula Education Program is conceptualized around the basic principle of offering a stimulating and interesting time for our students in the afternoon while at school. We also aim to alleviate any guilty conscience parents may have if they are not able to be with their children in the afternoons. These two concepts drive us in producing the best possible school program for BMS students.
